Halloween Craft Ideas
Children enjoy making toys, specially toys for Halloween. A few suggestions on how to make enjoyable Halloween crafts for the celebration are bellow. They also can be useful for planning an entertainment for a Halloween celebration at school.
1. Trick-or-Treat bucket – To make you will need an ice cream bucket, construction paper, fest tipped pens, colored chalk, paste, sparkles (various other supples)
Instructions: Pencil in on construction paper ghouls, pumpkins, phantoms, etc. Then chop out your creatures and attach them on outer surface of an ice cream bucket.
2. Trick-or-Treat goody bags – You will need brown paper bags of a small size, Halloween labels, twine tipped pens, little presents (sweets, school supplies, gums, etc.)
Instructions: Beautify paper bags with equipment you have in honor of Halloween. Place the little presents what you have prepared inside.
Fold the top of the bag down and tape shut with a Halloween sticker.
3. Tiny pumpkins – Equipment: acorns, carroty and green paint
Guidelines: Place acorns on a page of newspaper. Spread the base of the acorns with a carroty paint. When the carroty paint is dry, paint the crown of the acorns green (it will be a stalk of the pumpkin). Leave it to dry completely.
4. Spooky Spiders – Equipment: dark color construction paper, cotton globs or cotton stuffing, dark color pipe cleaners, small container or plate, and a stapler.
Guidelines: Cover small container or plate with the dark color construction paper. (Shape two rings per spider.) Put stuffing or cotton globs on a first ring. Place the second ring ahead of cotton stuffing and attach them with a stapler. Pop in 3-4” pipe cleaners on every side after that attach the second part of the rings together. Twist pipe cleaners to create the “legs” of the spider.
5. Two-headed Snake Halloween Craft – Supplies: Ice cream twig with thick ends, Black tempura paint, Gold glitter adhesive, 2" piece of narrow red band, cutters, adhesive, 4 Wiggle eyes.
Guidelines: Ice cream twig has to be painted black. Chop 2" piece of band into two 1" pieces. Shape a miniature triangle at one end of both the pieces to create a split tongue of the snake. Attach the ribbons to a base of both ends of the ice cream twig. It's important that a split end of the band-tongue is laid out. With gold glitter adhesive create 3-4 lines on snake's body. Paste two wiggle eyes on both sides of the ice cream twig.
6. Centipede Halloween Craft
Equipment: Ice cream twig, Orange tempura paint, 6 (12" long) orange chenille twigs, Red glitter glue, 2 Wiggle eyes and Tacky glue.
